Meet Dr Senote Keriakes (Dentist)
Most people pick a career, but Dr Senote believes that dentistry chose him: “I wanted a career where I could use my hands but also help people in a healthcare context, and voila!”
For Dr Senote, dentistry is both a meaningful career and a form of craftsmanship. “I love being a dentist because it allows me to combine technical skill with creativity to improve people’s health, confidence, and quality of life.”
With a calm, confident presence, Dr Senote helps patients feel heard and understood. He’s known for his ability to explain things clearly, without rushing, so patients feel informed and reassured every step of the way.
A graduate of La Trobe University, Dr Senote was especially inspired by Professor Philippe Zimet, who taught Dr Senote endodontics. The professor’s systematic approach to treatment left a lasting impression on Dr Senote.
Where Precision Meets Passion
Dr Senote is passionate about precision and problem-solving, two things he enjoys practising every day in the dental chair. He finds it rewarding to take something complex, whether it’s a tooth or a treatment plan, and refine it with precision and care until it’s something he can be proud of.
His professional achievements reflect that dedication. Dr Senote is the 2021 ASE Undergraduate Endodontics Essay Competition Winner and has completed advanced clinical training in:

Outside the Practice
When he’s not crafting beautiful smiles for patients, Dr Senote is most likely dancing salsa or bachata, studying languages like Coptic and Spanish, or exploring new ways to connect with people and cultures.
